In this episode we’ll be looking at how to create a new site.
Although we will be creating a farm in this tutorial, please note that a range of different sites can be created and the same rules apply.
Begin by visiting Zeroharm.co.nz and selecting create account.
Type in the email address that you will be using for your primary contact and click continue
If your new to the system you will be prompted to Fill out the normal details, including name.
Password
Phone number
And the name of your organization
Once this is complete
Simply click all done,
We have now created an account with Zero Harm, we can choose if we’d like to induct on a existing site or create our own site where people will be able to induct onto your site
To do this click “Create a Workplace”
Here we get to select what type of site that we will be running, selecting the right one now will help make the setup process easier in the upcoming stages, for the purpose of this tutorial we will select Farm
Provide all of the details of your site, including the name and a description should you wish, this will be available to everyone visiting your site.
Make sure you select the agricultural types of the site, if you have more than one, please select all of them.
Finally enter the sites primary email or phone.
Simple, we have now created a basic site and we can begin adding hazards and safety policy, and we have been redirected to the site page. The primary focus should be to complete and publish the site, to do this we will need to complete all areas in the red box and runt through each section on the left. We cover these areas in more detail in other tutorials should you require assistance.
If we would like to add a extra site we can do so by clicking “Create new site” on the left, this will run through a similar process and will allow you to manage all of your sites under one roof, there is not need to create a separate account as everything can be run under one roof
This can be excellent if you are a organization who runs multiple sites and can be created just as easily.
We can also assign people to help you manage your site by visiting the people section, here we can assign managers who can log in and help update and maintain your sites health and safety.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us or discover more using our other videos. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
